Note: All software
features between both Economy and Premium Schemes are
identical. The only differece is the cost per transaction
charged.
Account Type Movements: A hotel property is free to upgrade (but may not downgrade) its account from the Economy to the Premium Scheme at any time by paying the difference in the setup fees originally paid and the fees payable at the time of upgrade. An hotelier can move from an economy account to a premium account to a . However, the set up fee already paid for the account will not be refunded. |
Terms and Conditions:
- All transactions are acquired and settled without currency
conversion by ResAvenue in USD & SGD respectively.
- Hoteliers are required to make a 24 month usage commitment
and sign an agreement.
- Cost per Reservation
for the Premium Scheme is 5% and for the Economy Scheme
is 7% which will be deducted at source when you use the
complete solution.
- Charges will appear on your customer’s credit card
statement as www.resavenue.com/charge.

The ResAvenue
system enables online real-time payments from bookers who
use the following credit cards. Visa, MasterCard, Citibank
e-Card, American Express, and Diners Club. The system
is pre-configured and thus eliminates the need for a hotelier
to directly approach a bank or credit card system to obtain
their own Internet Merchant Account.
When a transaction is successful from the ResAvenue
booking system, it is reflected in the hotelier’s online
account with ResAvenue
with status as “pending”, even though the guest
has received a confirmation of room availability based on
the online inventory. This serves as a reminder to the front
office or internet reservation staff to make a corresponding
entry in the property managements system’s reservation
module.
The hotelier then needs to mark this status online to confirmed,
(from pending) by logging-in to his account on www.resavenue.com
using his password.
PAYMENT CYCLE:
Avenues World Pte Ltd (the owners of the ResAvenue
service) will credit the hotelier’s designated currency
account with USD /SGD 93.00 or 95.00 (depending on Pricing Scheme chosen) for every USD /SGD 100.00 worth of transaction, done on a credit card by their customer.
All reservations marked as confirmed until Sunday midnight GMT are processed for payment on the following Friday. They are then paid-out by wire transfer in the currency of the transaction. All wire transfers will be charged at US$ 10 each irrespective of the value of the payment.
If the hotelier credits the funds wired to a local currency account, the exchange rate applied to the transaction is fixed by the hotelier’s bank and Avenues World Pte Ltd have no control over the same. A small administrative fee could also be levied by the hotelier’s bank. They must check with the bank for the exact time required to credit the account and collection charges for this kind of transfer.
Minimum Balance Requirement:
On commencement of the account ResAvenue
will retain the first US Dollar 50 or its equivalent in other currencies as a minimum balance requirement for keeping the account in live mode, in the same way as a bank account operates. This amount is refunded at the time of delisting from the service. Subsequently all and any amount, as configured by the hotelier through the ResAvenue M.A.R.S. Control Panel will automatically get paid out.
SMS and Fax Reservation Advise
The ResAvenue
system allows hoteliers to receive an Internet based Advise on their mobile phones via the SMS (Short Messaging Service) of their mobile Service Provider. For hotels located in areas where Internet Services are unreliable, ResAvenue
is enabled for automated email to fax service which will provide
a printout facility of the Internet Reservation on the properties
front office fax number.
