Vishwas
Patel: Oversees the entire planning, execution and day-to-day
management at Avenues. He is founder CEO of Avenues and has guided
the company to be India's No. 1 E-Commerce company within a year
of its launch. A graduate in Commerce from Bombay University,
with a Law degree from the Government Law College, Bombay. He
also practiced for two years under Senior Counsel Mr. Veerendra
Tulzapurkar on the Original Side of the Bombay High Court. He
took to business at a very young age and joined his fathers business
of construction and property development. In 1995, he and his
younger brother Kalpesh Patel founded the SEASONS group of companies
and launched 'SEASONS' the super store, at Santa Cruz (West) in
Mumbai. Today, the brand 'Seasons' is among the top name to reckon
with in the industry and the 'Seasons' range of products command
a high reputation and are thee trendsetters in the Branded Indian
Ethnic Garment Industry. In 1997, he founded 'Seasons InfoTech
Pvt. Ltd.' with the basic aim of catering his 'Seasons' range
of products to the world market. The SeasonsIndia.com portal that
he created is today's India's No. 1 e-commerce women's portal.
The difficulties that he faced in getting a simple cost effective
real time payment gateway for his portal, prompted him to launch
AVENUES for his fellow Indian e-Merchants. ResAvenue.com
was thus launched on 1st September 2001, and it today provides
turnkey e-commerce solutions to more than five hundred e-merchants
across India including major portals belonging to Union Ministry
of Information Technology, I.L. & F.S., Baidyanath Group, Vakils,
Kalnirnay, Oxford Book store and IndiaInfo.com. ResAvenue,
the payment gateway solution is today, India's most preferred
online payment processing service for e-commerce, enabling e-merchants
to process secure transactions in real time, 24 hours a day. ResAvenue
is powered by proprietary technology that integrate online payment
processing, fraud control, financial reporting and tracking.
Apurva
Mody: Oversees the marketing and business development functions
@ ResAvenue.
A graduate in Commerce from Bombay University with fifteen years
of diverse work experience in India and abroad he assists Vishwas
Patel in all aspects of ResAvenue.
Apurva's specific domain knowledge and experience in the IT space
with PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning and Verisign online
security exposure is a great assistance. During his work experience
Apurva has held senior marketing positions with "The Gulf Today"
newspaper in Sharjah U.A.E. as well as Chief Functional Implementation
Specialist with Geosoft Technologies Redwood California. Since
his return to India in 2000 Apurva has been involved in assisting
Indian companies implement Verisign security and is one of the
key founder members of the ResAvenue
team.

Chief
Technology Officer Aparna Gawande, a B.E. in Electronics
and Telecommunications from Bombay University, leads a team of
dedicated software engineers developing a truly world class solution.
Her extensive experience in computer systems and analysis has
given ResAvenue
the solid grounding and stability that is synonymous with international
standards. Sound policies and practices are the foundations for
any business and the ResAvenueteam
ensures that the technological solutions are inline with the policies
and needs of the business.
A
management graduate, Vivek Nayak is the Chief Information
Officer at Avenues. A specialist in both marketing and advertising,
Vivek has a rich 13 year experience working in the Indian subsidiaries
of some of the top global advertising agencies including WPP Group
(Contract), Foote Cone & Belding (Ulka) and Grey (Trikaya).
His extensive past experience includes strategic brand planning,
communications strategy formulation and execution for some of
the top brands of India such as Asian Paints, United Distillers,
Nerolac Paints, Franklin Templeton, Shoppers Stop, Aptech, Geoffrey
Manners, Ceasefire, Bayer, TTK Group, Blue Star etc.
Vivek is responsible for providing input and feedback in the
overall business strategy as well as managing internal and external
information systems for the company. His key responsibility includes
implementation of a Knowledge Management system to maximize corporate
competitiveness and growth. This includes tracking and analysis
of the business processes, strategic planning, internal and external
customer support management, setting up an electronic documentation
process and managing the external brand communication for Avenues.
Anupama
Salvi, an architect by training, is responsible for scoping
functional requirements and specs for new ventures and projects.
Her past experience as project co-coordinator in the field of architecture
as well as the web, in India and abroad, have stood her in good
stead for her current role of Business Executive in charge of Planning
and Implementation. Her purview encompasses interfacing with the
customer to understand their needs and aspirations, to keep
ResAvenue
always one step ahead in our strategy to provide cutting edge solutions.
ResAvenue
is an industry forerunner, providing innovative solutions and a
stimulating and challenging environment on which the entire team
thrives.
The total strength of the Avenues team is now 23 persons spanning
across all disciplines.

office and development center is based in Santacruz (W) Mumbai,
spanning an area of 5,000 sq, feet with complete technical and functional
infrastructure in-place.
